Movement in stomach but having periods

I am having regular periods but am having a lot of movement in my lower part of my stomach. It feels like fluttering. My periods last for 3-4 days, normal for me and the flow isn't that heavy. Just wondering has anybody ever experienced this? I have had 2 other children and nothing like this. I don't know what else could cause this. I'm not on any medication. I do feel a little tired, but that could be because of my 4 and 2 year old!!! Experiencing headaches, dizziness, and a little weight gain. I guess I should just go buy a HPT.

Thanks,

Kim

YES YES YES! I'm glad someone else out there is having the same thing. Ever since I started trying, but I've had mostly regular periods (just this last time it came 2 days early and lasted only 3 days). I call it "phantom kicks." It reminds me of the kicks I felt early on in my first pg (but the 16th week!). Obviously it wouldn't be a sign of pg this time b/c it would be too early to feel anything, but what is it? Gas? I've never had gas way down there before, and it's not painful. I have no other signs of PG either, so I'm convinced it's something else (at least for me). Very strange.

Whew, i'm glad I'm not the only one experiencing this. For a moment there I thought I might have been halucinating! I don't know what it is. Gas, possibly? How long have you been experience these movements? It's going on a month for me. It seems like the past couple of days they are getting stronger. It feels like the kicks you get during your 16 week. How weird. Maybe I will go to the dr. to find out what it is.

I got the same thing too. Except though I have officially tagged myself as crazy, I think I really am pregnant. But all the tests are negative. Back in the end of May was my last normal period, since then they are 1-2 days long, and are mostly spotting. I'm getting bigger too. I went to planned parenthood, but they did me no good. So i'm just waiting around, I will have to figure it out eventully. I think I could be 20 weeks, but I am not real thin (not too big either LOL) and I have a habit of not popping out until about 28 weeks with my past pregnancys, so thats why its still a guess. I feel it, and look it a little. I started measuring myself around the hips, because most of the belly is low, and its growing for sure, it even jumped up 2 inches in 2 days once. I'm hoping to get some insurance in the next month or so, so I can see a real doctor. If its not a baby, then I got something else growing in there. :(

Congratulations! It must be on your mind constantly, trying to figure out what is happening. Keep us updated -- it's a real mystery! As for the "stomach movements", it's been going with me for about a month, and I feel it on and off all day, but mostly at night after dinner when I'm just hanging out watching TV. It must be an intestinal thing.

It's weird that it just started as soon as we began ttc. I think I'm just aware of that area more. The only thing I changed in my diet lately is I started drinking Diet Coke instead of regular, since I was borderline diabetic with PG #1, so maybe it's that??

that's quit possible it could be due to change of diet (of any sort) being Pre-diebetic bites (I am and found out maybe a month ago) so Have to watch what I eat (hopefully it doesn't go full blown if/ when I become preg.) congrats. to those who found out they are Preg. happy & healthy 9 months.....good luck to us TTC
