Hey Ladies,

Why is it that this whole waiting for AF thing becomes so consuming??? Here I sit, normally a perfectly sane and functioning individual and I find myself totally taken in with the thought of having another baby? Why can't I just wait? :-)

Anyways, my hubby and I aren't trying for another baby (yet, our "baby" will be 17mos this week), we just got a little careless. He did his thing and used no version of any protection (very unlike him... it was amazing sex and deserved a good finale) and I was on the 12th day of my cycle... Oh well. I figure I'm on a 50/50 chance of having another baby. I don't really feel like I did when I found out I was having Liam (my boobs were like a road map within a week)... in fact, I don't really feel anything that signafies one way or the other except that I'm excessively tired. I went to bed BEFORE Liam did last night (dh put him to bed) and was still tired when Liam woke me up 10 hours later. Then again, there could be a dozen different explainations for that. My cycle is usually 32-33 days (which is tomorrow and the next day) but 35 days is not unheard of.

If I'm pregnant or if I'm not it's OK, but now I've gotten so I want another baby. I know now isn't the best time (job issues= financial difficulty) plus dh will be gone all the time with school and work, but... a baby. Then again, we weren't planing on trying for another for a year. I dunno, its just so much to think about.

Thanks for "listening"

Hello Claire! :)

I know, waiting is such a pain in the neck, isn't it?

Yes, day 12 of a 31-32 day cycle is a bit early (not impossible as you said), but 31-32 is usually... sometimes I go as short as 26 (in which case 12 would be right on). My cycle is slightly irregular. Anyways, here I sit, day 36, no period, one BFN. There have only been two times I've gone longer than 35 days. Once I was pregnant, the other time was when my husband left for the Army (more stress than anyone should have to deal with). Who knows, I figure if I still haven't gotten my period I'll test again early next week.

Playing the waiting game,

If if makes you feel any better (which I'm sure it probably doesn't)
