Ok, I've heard getting pregnant while nursing full time is few and far between since it suppresses your hormone levels. DH and I have used protection every time we dtd "just in case". Well in the heat of the moment (10/12) we did not take such precautions. On the 14th, I had some cm which made me think I was o'ing. It was not nearly as much as usually have when o'ing, but it was there none the less. Anyway, I took a FRE on Thursday (9 dpo) and got the faintest of faint lines. So faint it could have easily been mistake for a bfn. I decided to take another one later that day and got a bfn (FRE)-not even a hint of a line. I tested again the next morning (10 dpo) w/FMU and again a bfn. Went out and got a Clear Blue Easy Early Response (or whatever the exact name is) and took it the next am (11dpo) and got an even fainter 2nd line (fainter than the FRE @ 9 dpo). This one you really could not see unless you held it in to the light so again I took another one (CBEER) - bfn! I know it's still early, but what would you guys think? I already told myself I was not preggo, but the more I read the more I wonder. I ordered the Aimstick online and will probably get it at the end of the week or early the next week, but I so badly want to know now. Sad part is that no matter the result, I will be both happy and sad. It is SO not the right time for me to have another one, but when I got that first +, I got so happy (but scared) that now just the thought of me NOT being preggo makes me both sad and relieved. Make sense? Again, I will test again when I get my order in, but what do you guys think? Prob not preggo? Would nursing keep my hcg levels low to where it may not show a bfp (if that were the case) until later than usual?

forgot to mention...I have not seen af since before my last pregnancy so I don't know what my cycles are going to do (used to be 28 days but got further apart after second child).

My two cents is that you should wait until you are about 16-18 dpo before testing. If you are getting faint lines then it's likely that it'll be darker if you wait until later on to test. On the same note if you are thinking you are seeing the second line as it's so light then it could just be the fact that you are thinking about it so much that you almost think it's there...so I would test again but wait until at least 16-18dpo before even attempting as it could be a big waste of money unnecessarily.

DH, a friend and I all saw the 2 lines on the first test so I know I wasn't seeing things then, but I never told anyone about the second one so maybe I was seeing things. I hate this waiting thing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah waiting can definitely be a pain in the butt however what else you going to do right!!!! Also if you saw 2 lines but you find that all the tests after are getting lighter, I wouldn't necessarily be discouraged if you are as in my case the first one I could hardly believe my eyes I was so excited but I kept being so unconvinced up until they gave me an u/s at 6w1d, but in that time frame I'd taken 4 HPT!!! What was driving me nuts was that everytime I took one it kept getting lighter and lighter...found out later on that it'll do that!!!!!!!

Keep me updated and let me know what that next test says.
