Negative HPT...Could I Still Be?

It's been a while since I was on here. Let me start first by saying last time I was here I thought I was, but turned out that it was just hormones from skipping pills and what not. Anyway, when I thought I was, I stopped taking my pills for over a week, then got my period, so I knew I wasn't (that was at the end of Sept.) Oct. 22nd was the first day of my last period, but it was so odd...very light and mostly brown (hardly anything and shorter than normal). So last week I started to think that maybe that was implantation bleeding and not a period. I have been having major symptoms...my stomach is very bloated (not like from a period or PMS, though...my pants are very very tight), I've been getting nauseous, burping, light headed, cranky, weepy, and totally exhausted and unmotivated to do ANYTHING, etc. Last week I took a test, which would've put me at 5 1/2 to 6 weeks (if I am), but the test was negative and it wasn't first morning urine. Could I still be pg? Has this happended to anyone before? I'm trying really hard not to get too excited, so unlike last time, I'm not going to buy anymore tests and just try to wait until the 19th which is when I should get a period, if I'm not pg. Also, I've continued to take the pills so as not to totally throw my body off again, if it turns out that I'm not. I've been consistently back on them since Sept. 28th, so I don't think this time any of the symptoms are from stopping & re-starting. Any thoughts on this would be much appreciated. (Sorry this is a novel!!)

I am having the exact symptoms as you. Sometimes my stomach feels like it's...pulling? I cant get a BFP, and it's extremely frustrating to me. I've read that it is possible for some women to get BFP's until they're like 4 months, or they just cant get positives from HPT's at all. (theres a woman on another forum that this happened to with all SIX of her kids). Maybe you should get a blood test, but get the one that counts your hcg levels, not the yes/no blood test, because i've also talked to some women that said they got beg blood tests, and they were. Good luck!
