Never hurt so bad in my life...
| Tue, 08-19-2003 - 11:56pm |
This has nothing to do with pregnancy.
I needed to say it somewhere.
All day I've been thinking about the guy i LOVE. I know i am meant to be with him...He's my everything. He said that if i am pregnant even though it's not his he would help me. He got me pregnant before...
He's in love with one of my best friends. And even though I talked with this friend about it, and we both decided to back off of him, she loves him too and they are going to be together no matter what.
I have never hurt so bad in my life. I never get this emotional but right now i feel literally sick, my heart literally feels like it's breaking, and i can't stop crying...
nothing hurts as much as a broken heart...

about 10 minutes ago i wanted to die because Jared (guy i am in love with) told me didn't want to be anything more than acquaintences. my best girl friend told me she didn't know if we could be friends because i changed so much. i wanted to die.
now i am fine. absolutely fine and i feel like i change everything and everything's going to be okay. i am so dam hormonal, i don't know what to do. nobody gets THAT depressed, and then gets better THAT quickly. this is messed up.
BTW i am on antidepressants i have been for about a year, could that mess anything up if i am pregnant??? i hope not!!!

Also, some antidepressants can mess up your periods. Could that be what's up instead of pregnancy? Your mood swings are very symptomatic of depression. (I know; I've been there.) Talk to your psychiatrist and see if s/he can adjust your meds.
Good luck. And let us know how you're doing.

For the first thing, You have the right to get upset!
If the man you love, Loves someone eles, Let him go! Don't put yourself, In that kind of postion, If they want eachother so badly, Than let them have eachother!
He wouldn't be serious with you anyway, By the way he is acting, Bouncing to one girl after the other!
Belive me, I've been threw enough realationships like that to know better! You can do better! You are in for more heart break if you don't let him go! I know its hard, But you will be alot happier with someone who realy wants, loves, And cares about you, Than a man who wants someone eles all the time!!
Good Luck and hang in there!
Love, Angela
P.S I wish when I was dating that person, That somone would have told me what to do!
Anyway i called my mom (who lives in Wisconsin, I'm flying out there on Sunday) and she is making an appointment with a real doctor for me for a full exam, not just the urine test that Planned Parenthood does. I want to make sure that even if i'm not pregnant, that something isn't wrong, you know, down there...
Is anyone else on Wellbutrin and know if it cna mess ya up??

"If you want to get pregnant while you're on an antidepressant, you're going to have to weigh the risks to your baby against the risks to you if you don't take the drug. As with most antidepressants, what we know about their activity in pregnant women is mostly obtained from animal studies, not from large-scale studies in humans.
Your best choice might be Wellbutrin (Kate's note: The article was comparing four antidepressants), which hasn't caused birth defects or other development problems in animal studies even in doses up to 45 times the human daily dose. The effect of Wellbutrin on labor and delivery in humans isn't known, however."
Hope that helps. I have a friend who had all kinds of missed periods while she was on Wellbutrin. She was in her mid-thirties and thought that she might be early-menapausal. After she changed medications, her periods were normal again. I don't know if it IS one of the side effects. But, at least you know that it could be your medication.
When you're in Wisconsin, are you seeing a family practioner or an OB/Gyn? An FP might be able to help you with some of your other health questions, too, and still do your gyno check.
Good luck, and hope you are doing well.

i'm also afraid of STD's...I've been having lots of watery-mucousy-type discharge lately, and i am wondering if there's any possibility all these symptoms and the skipped period could be STD side effect?? the last guy i slept with, i never met him before that night and i don't know anything about him except that he's my friend's brother... so i have no idea. kinda scary, eh?
