nursing + cycle / wondfo (sp?)

Hi everyone,
First of all I just found this board and I love it, it makes me feel so much better for constantly wondering if I'm pregnant. My dh, wonderful as he is, doesn't get it at all-- his attitude is "just wait 9 months and see what happens."
Anyway, I was wondering if anyone knows what it's like to get your period back after nursing. Once it comes back, is it usually regular again right away? I've been nursing my dd and I got my period for the first time since she was born (9 months earlier) about five weeks ago. I haven't had it since. Usually I have a 30-35 day cycle. So am I late, or is it normal to have irregular cycles for a while since I'm still nursing?
Also, I used a wondfo/wondfro/something like that stick test when I was maybe 4/5 days late. Has anyone heard of the test and how accurate it is? I got a negative, but I still don't have my period a week later, so maybe it was wrong?
I feel like I have pg symptoms, but my symptoms are pretty subtle this early on, and so I think I might just be letting wishful thinking interfere with my powers of observation..who knows. I do plan to test again in a week if I'm still w/o my period, but in the meantime I wanted to know if anyone here had info on breastfeeding+ cycles, wondfo, or just the chances of getting a false negative in general. Thanks so much in advance!

Oh Sweetie... I'm so sorry to hear about all this confusion.
Hi, thanks a lot for the link! You're right, there was a lot of info there. Unfortunately not necessarily what I wanted to hear--apparently it's very common to skip periods while breastfeeding, so it's not necessarily a sign of anything. But still, it's good to know what's going on.
If another week or two goes by with no period and I still feel like I might be pg, I plan to test again with clear blue easy. I don't want to wait that long, but I also don't want to drive myself nuts by taking a test, getting a negative, telling myself I might have tested too soon, taking a test, etc. So one week it is.
