As you already have probably read, I missed 4 ortho tri cyclen pills during ovulation "according to an ovulation calendar" even though they have told me not to base myself on that. Anyhow, i just read the enclosures that come with the pack and they say if you miss more than 2 or 3 pills your 3rd week to throw away the pack and start a new one.. However, I did not do that.
My doctor said finish up the pack.. Now I am on the 4th week and ending and still no period..

My Co-Worker and I get our periods about the same time, usually together she finished her period on Sunday and she also takes the pill.
My question is what happens when you dont throw away the pack??? What are the possibilities of getting pregnant ???
By the way, I took a blood test yesterday the results where suppose to be in today at noon i get to the dr.'s office and they said not until tomorrow morning.. ARGGGGG!!!!

There's a chance. Even if you took all the pills correctly, there's still a chance. I would say that completely missing 4 pills makes the chance a little stronger, but not as strong as if you'd missed a pill or more in the first or even second week of the pack. I lost one pill in the first week of the pack, missed a couple of others later on and got pregnant. But missing pills like that can also throw your cycle off even enough to make you miss a period. I am surprised that they are testing you so soon because it would only have been a little over a week since you missed those pills (am i right?) and that's not always usually enough time for implantation. Don't stress yet, I'd bet your okay, but don't let your guard down either until you get AF.

It would be exactly 10 days from conception when I got tested.
