Hi Nahjae... it would depend on how long your cycles usually are? Typically women ovulate around CD 14, but for example, I have long cycles and tend to O around CD18 or CD19. And other women who have shorter cycles can O even at CD10 or CD11... one rough estimate to find out what day you

Yeah, the most important this is to take your temp at the same time, every day, and you really have to do it first thing in the monring, before you do ANYthing. Moving around can effect your temps and make it not accurate. What I usually do is this:

If say I normally have to be up at about 7 or 7:30am, then I actually set my alarm for 6am, take my temp (keep the thermometer on the nightstand), and then go back to sleep until I have to get up for real. If you use one of those actual digital basal thermometer's, most have a memory so that you just take your temp, and then you can record it later on in the day.

Good luck! HTH! :)

sounds good well i started tempting again this am it cd 10 so i hope im not to off it was 97.66 but i still dont have a predicted ovulation date yet. do u think it's because i missed a couple of temp? and i started spottin again i dont understand that? but it was like a dark brown looked like old af but not sure is that normal or maybe it's because i didnt have af for a few months? i dont knoe i guess i will get it together soon.. i live on south florida and i saw on the news this am that instead of the tempting and using the op kit there is a watch that u wear at nite when u go to bed it cost about 100 bucks.. the dr was saying that is better than the op kit cause it dosent involve using the urine the couple said that they were ttc for about 5mths and then they were temping but they couldnt stand the waitin so they tried the watch and and go prego almost immediately after giving the watch a try.. so that is maybe something to consider.. lol

Hm...can you email me a link to your chart so I can take a look at it? It might help me see if I see any oddities. Also, you're saying you still have some brownish discharge? When did AF stop? I think it's fairly common to have a few days of spotting after AF, I know I do for about 3-4 days.

One more thing, if I may suggest, try checking out the Fertility Charting message board here on ivillage. That's agreat place for those just starting the charting process. Also, there's a section about "look at my chart" and the CL's are really great at getting back to people as quickly as possible... here's the link if you want to check it out: http://messageboards.ivillage.com/iv-pstempchart
