Hello, I am new to this group. My name is Carrie.
My husband & I just started trying last month. We already have a 2 1/2 year old daughter.
I guess I will start off with telling you my symptoms first & then let you know alittle history.
I have been having sharp pains around my hips going up my sides & into my lower back. My stomach has also been swollen & I have been nauseas off & on through out the day for acouple days now. I have also been having chest pains. Also, dizziness & VERY tired all the time. HD says I have been very moody but I think if I am its cause I am stressed!!!!!
Now alittle about my history......
I found out I had endometriosis when I was 13. I found out I have cervical cancer about 6 months ago. And I was in the emergency room about 2 weeks ago for my dizziness & passing out & they think I am having baby seizures. My doctor said it's either right now or never on having a baby so we are trying very hard. I will have to have a full hysterectomy done SOON if I don't get pregnant or right after I have a baby.
When I was pregnant with my first daughter I really didn't have any symptoms at first except for my discharge was different & a pair of my shorts didn't fit me all the sudden. I gained 8 lbs. by my 4th week.
Well, let me know what you think about my symptoms & with the pains. I have forgot all the little things that happened to my body when I was first pregnant with my daughter.
Thanks,
Carrie

carrie, wow, your story breaks my heart, i hope you get pregnant in time, iam sure God is on your side, and your wish will come true. you have gone through alot, and iam just sending alot of ++ vibes, and prayers your way.
you know, i don't remember symtoms from a decade ago, but with my 1 yr old, i do remember cramps, and backache early on, bloatedness for sure, and a bit of dizziness, but i have low blood pressure so it was no big tip off.
i hope all these things are relating to preganncy for you:) my mom had a hysterectomy at 35, and her mom died by 40 from ovarian cancer, so iam 30, almost 31, and i feel like a ticking clock myself, but so far so good, but you are going through much more, and iam so sorry for that. you could well be pregnant, and these are signs. every pregnancy is different, so just cause you didn't have them last time, doesn't mean you can't get them this time.
i hope everything works out for you. how many cycles do you have to try if this isn't the month? did you get pregnant quickly with your daughter? sending lots of cyber hugs your way.
michelle
I took me a year to get pregnant with my first daughter. But my hubby was in the military then & I pretty much only seen him on the weekends then.
Now he is home all the time to try!!!! Wish me good Luck! And thank you for your support & advice!
YOU ARE BEYOND WELCOME!
ya know with my first son, i had unprotected sex for 4 yrs nothing...got pregnant 1 time when i planned on dumping his sorry butt, (naturally), then after that pregnancy, i got pregnant 5 mo later (planned it, as i was then 19, and my 1st son was not supposed to live, so i got obsessed with getting pregnant cause i couldn't imagine not being a mom anymore, and losing that, i was like in such a fog, and so i had to get pregnant or i didn't know how i could live if he passed on, so ds#2 is now 9, and ds#1 passed away.
9 yrs later, new man, my wonderful husband, and 3 years of trying, no luck for a baby with my dh, but we both checked out fine, so we went to an RE, and first cycle of iui w/ clomid, and we were pregnant. i couldn't wait any longer, just in case, anything were to happen with me, at least i got to have 1 child with dh, ya know? she is 12 mo now, but we are going au-naturale, hoping for #2 if it's in God's plan.
i had a chemical preg. not long ago so we CAN get preggo, but if you really want to up the chances, and have decent insurance, would you consider trying that if this cycle doesn't work? it will up your chaces quite a bit, by making extra eggs, and putting the sperm where it needs to go? even the iui alone, if you cannot do any fertility drugs for whatever reason, would help, as there are obstacles on the way to the uterus, so it definately doesn't hurt!
i hope you won't have to. God bless you, please do keep me posted. i'll be sending lots of prayers in your direction! BFP FOR YOU!
hugs, michelle
