Last month I missed a few pills had a very early period and decided to remain off the pill until after my next period. First day of AF was 10/19. According to everything I read O probably occured around 10/31. Husband and I were intimate on 10/28. Could O have been earlier due to pills? What are the chances of being pregnant? Still to early to test!

I have been really tired and have an achy sensation on Lft Ovary for several days. It had stopped and my ob/gyn said it was probably a cyst that resolved itself w/ O. However it came back past two days and I feel very tired and irratable. A friend told me she had a cyst that did not resolve and that is how she knew she was pregnant.

What are the odds? Any thoughts on O date: is it likely to have a normal cycle immediately off the pill?

I've read that sometimes when a woman is on bcp and misses even a few days it can cause her to ovulate (the change in hormone levels) that why every pill pack suggests that if you miss more than 2 pills that you use protection for 7 days..so if you ovulate in seven days when you resume unprotected sex you won't be able to get pregnant anymore. What I've read on the subject suggests that missing pills in the first 2 weeks is worse than missing in the last two weeks especially if you are on a triphasic cycle. I know of many women who have gotten pregnant their first month after stopping bcp and that is most likely the reason why.

Just throwing that in there =) Good luck to everyone who wants a BFP!!
