On pill for 6+ years, always 28 day cycle.

Not TTC.

On day 23 of cycle, noticed browned discharge. No odor. No blood.

A day earlier than my expected menses - I always get it on Thursday, I noticed red blood when I wiped. So, put in tampon. Barely saturated, but had red blood and brown on it. (SORRY IF SO GRAPHIC)...by evening, barely any flow.

On expected day of menses, still bright red blood, but not alot. GOt nervuos that it was implantation and took a HPT. NEGATIVE. Usually the 2nd day, today, is the heavy day. When I woke up, hoped to have more blood on tampon, still light amount. So scared took, another HPT. NEGATIVE.

Could I be pregnant? Or is this just an irregular month for me?

Going to DR this afternoon...I am so scared. Not ready for a baby.

Any insight would be helpful.

Thanks :)

You need to stop worrying. If you did not miss any pills - you will not be pg!

Especially after 6+ years.

Sometimes you might have to change your pills (when experiencing weird side effects).

I'm sure your dr will tell you the same thing afternoon.

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks for your response.

You are right. Went to the DR and told him the story. He did an internal and he said everything felt and looked fine. He did suggest changing pills. Right now - I am taking Ortho-Tricyclen and he is suggesting taking Ortho-Cyclen. He also said that the fact that in the past month, I have started dieting and exercising, could have been a shock to my system.

I hate that I am such a worrywart. I guess I was nervous that this lighter flow could have been implantation. I know the odds of pregnancy while on the pill are slim to none, esp if I didn't miss any pills...but I just get scared...I love my boyfriend very much and we are going to be married, but we are no where near ready for a baby - so....

Anyway - thanks for your response. Its nice to have someone to talk to.
