can you have "period-like" bleeding and be pregnant still? normally i have 27-29 day cycles, with 30 being the longest. last time i knew for sure i was pregnant. tested on days 26 and 28 for negatives. then i started late in the evening on day 31. it came on slow, only when i went to the bathroom. then, the next day it was like AF, that was Tuesday. Wednesday was like normal AF. then Thursday just spotting. Friday, nothing. i spotted greyish-brownish stuff until Tuesday, which is longer than normal, however the "flow" was much shorter. i've been REALLY tired and irritable and nauseous. i haven't even been able to eat a whole meal without feeling like i could throw up. my face has also broke out like i'm a teenager again. should i take another test or am i grasping at straws?

the only thing i think is maybe you had an early miscarage. i have heard

that bleeding w/ gray matter in it is a miscarage. good luck to you.

Hi, I am new to this so bear with me. I am also in the same situation. I have had period like bleeding, only lasted half the usual time of a period and was lighter. I don't know whether it was implantation bleeding or not. I tested negative too, on day 30, then it started on day 32 of what is usually a 28 day cycle. So now it is over and I don't feel the way I usually do. Having back cramps, unheard of for me just after a period, nausea, no appetite, darker nipples and I could sleep for Britain right now. I don't know whether to test or wait and see. But yes, some women do have peiods all throughout their pregnancy, just lighter. If it was a miscarriage, then wouldn't it be heavier and not a lighter flow, as the uterus had built itself up more to nourish the foetus? You should test if you think for one minute that you might be. I wish you lots of luck and hope you get the result that you want. Take care xx
