I posted here about 3 weeks ago. I had symptoms of nausea and diarrhea for a couple days. My period was due May 3rd, but expected it about May 11. My husband and I use condoms and the only time we had unprotected sex was on my period last month. The main reason I am posting again is I have been having a lower back ache for 4 days now. I didn't do anything major. The only heavy lifting I do is pick up my 34 lb son. I have took two ept pregnancy tests and they both said negative. I wish my period would just come. What is going on with my back? Could be something else?

Okay thanks! I was looking online for lower back pain and I found Impending menstruation. My question is: I have never had back pain before my period started. Can it start at any time?

Day 6 and my back is still bothering me and my period is still not here. I went on the pill when I was 18 because of irregular periods and now since I am off it I miss not knowing when my period will be here. I don't know what to do. My husband started a new job we won't have health coverage until July 1st. I am on medicaid right now. Should I go to the doctor? Do I need a chiropractor? I am only 23 and having back pains. I don't understand why....

If it's causing you that much discomfort, yes.
