I need some advice. My husband and I are TTC #1. I'm 27 and he's 26. I went off the pill in January. I had to take Provera in April b/c I hadn't gotten a period and wasn't pregnant. I got a period and had 3 35 day cycles. Then in August, AF came early (30 day cycle) In September I had a 26 day cycle. I'm now on CD 35 and no AF. I've had 3 BFN, 2 with FMU and 1 without FMU. I have had weird symptoms this month...Around CD22 I had a slight bit of bleeding for about 2 hours. It was bright red but immediately turned brown. Yesterday and today, after going to the bathroom, I had a tiny bit of brown blood once each day. My nipples tingle, my gums are bleeding a little bit, I'm VERY bloated and have a little gas (sorry TMI). I also feel like I could eat and eat but then all of a sudden I'm full and I can't finish what I have. I've had periods of nausea where I feel like my stomach is in my throat, but I don't ever vomit. I've been peeing a lot, but I always went more than most I think.

I guess I just don't know what to do at this point. Am I or aren't I?

Here's my other dilemma. My DH and I switched health insurance and my old GYN doesn't take the new one. I've found a new office but they aren't accepting new patients unless they are pregnant. It's like I'm stuck in midair w/ no doctor.

I guess I want to know if 9 months is a long time to try (6 if you count from when I got my first AF off of BCP)??? Please help!

Thanks-

Kerri

Hey Kerri -

I am pretty new to the board, but thought I'd respond to your post. I'm thinking 9 months isn't all that long as far as concieving since you were coming off the pill. If you need some questions answered, do you have a planned parenthood or similar free clinic in town? When I was pregnant with my last, I didn't have insurance at first, and went to planned parenthood. They are very helpful and can get the ball rolling for you. If anything, they can confirm if you are pregnant and send you on to your doctor for your insurance.

Good Luck!!!
