I am on the pill, and am very bad at remembering to take them. If i get too far behind, I will just skip a few. My last normal period was on September 20. I had sex on Sept 20, and October 1st. Around October 12, I started what I thought to be my period. It was a brownish color and lasted for only that day (which is not normal, I usually go for at least 5 days). A little while after that, I began to get nauseas after eating, dizzy, getting unusual acne, very tired, and very irritable. My period should have started on October 19th, but was about 5 days late. It was lighter than usual, musousy, and only lasted for about 3 days. I was still having the same symptoms. Now, I'm still nauseas and everything else, but my stomach is getting bigger, and I'm getting light cramping (like AF is coming), and am very gassy and getting diarrhea (sorry TMI). I have taken hpt's and they have been negative. I also had blood work done about a week and a half ago, and it came back negative. Does anyone have any advice for me??? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I have also been having low back pains, and recently my tailbone has been hurting me very badly. It hurts to sit, walk or lay down. Today is a little better though.

Well, of course, if you forget to take pills, you can get pregnant, but since you say you have had blood work done, my guess it that you are not pregnant. Blood tests are pretty good at detecting a pregnancy. My guess is that your cycle just went crazy as a result of being on the pill. Birth control pills end up shortening the length of AF for a lot of women, and in some cases, women can even miss AF. Usually, however, they also make you more regular. It could just be that your body is still adjusting, or the hormone levels of the pills might not be a good match for you. If things stay weird, I would talk to your doctor and see about maybe switching to a different pill. Good luck:) ~Azurea
