Hey everyone!
Alright...I got my period on the 9th of this month. I usually have about a 25 day cycle (use to be 28).
Almost to the letter, my boyfriend and I had UPS (unprotected sex) on the 18th-24th (yea..very active). On the 21st-24th, I know factually that there was no withdrawal at all.
Anyway, according to my calculation, a full period should start today (the 2nd). On Monday, however, I started having light spotting. Tuesday, same thing...I go to use the bathroom a few minutes ago and there was nothing. I waited and waited and absolutely nothing.
On the 27th of this month, I automatically started feeling really bloated. Not only that but my breasts (which normally do get fuller right before my period) seemed a lil larger than life. I also had somewhat of a queezy feeling that wouldnt subside and I have continued having these same feelings up until 10 minutes ago.
My first question is....how soon after your period is it possible to ovulate or get pregnant? With my period starting on the 9th and ending around Thursdayish, it wouldnt be possible to get pregnant like that Friday or Saturday would it?
Secondly, how soon can you feel symptoms? Im curious b/c I have been ridiculously tired and not to mention that light colored spotting Ive had.
Just to cure my own curiosity, I took a test on Thursday the 27th and nothing.
What should I do ladies? If you would please advise that'd be excellent.
And anything else you can share based on the info that I gave you would be wonderful
I hope I didnt bombard you too badly :O)
Thank you and big hugs to everyone

Hi there! Before I proceed I have to tell you that I do not have children and have never been pregnant, but as a sexually active woman, I've had my "uh-oh" moments, and this is where I come. I am not someone who spots either before or after AF, but I have heard that can be taken anyway. It depends on the type of spotting you are having. Implantation bleeding, I've read, is usually lighter in color, pinkish brown, I think they say, and happens some 7-12 days after conception. By you having a shorter cycle, ovulation would probably occur a little earlier for you. Having UPS (I like that by the way) for a week definitely increases your chances of becoming pg. The 27th may have been too early to test, especially if the spotting started Monday. I've read that hormone levels double every other day after implantation, so you could probably test tomorrow. Be sure to use your FMU and get an early response test to increase your chances of getting accurate results.
Remember that all women are different and a lot of women don't test positive on HPT's until weeks into the first trimester. Whatever the case may be, stay positive, and good luck. I'm no expert, but I hope this helps.
Keep me posted, cause I'll be lurking until I test again (see my post "I'm starting to freak"). I posted last night.
