Please someone help!

I have been under a lot of stress lately this month. My husband is out of work due to a car accident and his work doesn't pay short term disability and the insurance company won't pay us anything until his treatment is over. I know that's beside the point but I'm just trying to tell everyone where my stress is coming from and I think that's why I missed my period this month. I have three kids already and had my tubes tied with my last girl in October 2004. I stopped breastfeeding her in April this year but got my period back in January because her feedings were so much less. Since then my periods have gotten back to normal and not so heavy and last about 4 days now. I always get it the first few days into the month and have missed it this month. This will be the first time since December. I just had questions about the pregnancy tests I took. I bought a factplus that came with two tests and at first they both looked negative but later when I look close they have a super faint line that makes a +. It's almost not even there so does everyone think that's a positive or should I retest with a different kind of test? I mean should anything at all show up if it's a negative? Please help me figure this out because since my tubes are tied I really need to find out. Just another note on Saturday this past week I spotted a light pink not even enough for a pantyliner plus I had a dizzy spell last week and do not have a history of things like that.

Hi there,

Sorry you're going through all this. I would say maybe wait a couple days and retest. If you are preg, it will give your body a chance to build up hcg and make it more clear whether you're pg or not.

A good website to get information about the different kinds of hpts is www.peeonastick.com you could check the kind you used and see what it says about the accuracy, etc.

Good luck... hope you get the answer you're looking for soon. Keep us posted on how you're doing... :)
