I just took a digital pregnancy test and it said "pregnant"
could it have been affected because my husband and I had sex last night and i'm getting a false-positive result because of that?

that shouldnt make a difference. the test measures the pregnancy hormone that is already in your body. i would wait another day or 2 and test again.

It's REALLY unusual to get a false positive on those tests. Having sex right before taking it doesn't make a difference since they measure hormones in your urine. I'd say your pregnant. My OB didn't even have me come in and take a test in the office when I got a positive.

*Update*

Went to the hospital today and they say I am pregnant too.

I was on Depo Provera for four years, got my last injection March 2006, and haven't used protection since then. I know a lot of other Depo users are wondering how long it might take them to conceive, so I figured i'd provide that information for anyone who is wondering.
My cycles were still a little crazy because of Depo, I got my period back August 2006, and had a period once every month since then, but not in any predictable pattern.
Length of my cycles: 39, 46, 35, 25. My last period started on January 1st, so after 35 days of no period (considering my last cycle only took 25 days) I decided to test just out of curiosity, totally not expecting to be pregnant, and well, turns out I am.
My symptoms include: sore boobs and cramps. Which I just thought meant I was about to get my period, but I was a little suspicious since I've never had PMS before, but then again, after not having a period for four years, I was new to the game again, lol.

Don't know if that helps anyone out, but someone might find it useful!
