I need your help.I have been posting on the miscarriage board today. I went for my 1st u/s yesteray and there was a small gestational sack,no yolk sac, no heartbeat and bad hcg levels. They told me there was no baby and that I would miscarry in a couple of days to two weeks. This pg was off a frozen embryo transfer.Needless to say dh and I were devestated.I was told to call the re if I had any unusual pains.
At 3:45 I called the doctor and told them about some sharp stabbing pains in my rt ovary. I was told to come in. They put me up on a high resolution ultrasound to check my tubes in case of a tubal pg. Long story short, the doctor found a yolk sac and a HEARTBEAT.The h/b is 120 bpm (i guess normal is 120-160).I can't even believe it. MY dh and I have been crying our eyes out since yesterday. They sent me to the hospital to have radiology confirm there is no tubal pg(there isn't). Here is my question-please help! Has anyone ever heard of this happening. The re said the baby was either going to turn itself around or not in the next couple of days but that the pg could linger for several weeks. No one is hopeful(although I have more hope than I did 5 hours ago). The hcg leve was 813 last monday and 1310 yesterday. Has anyone ever seen anything Like this? How did I get a heartbeat when everything looks so bad? Please advise!
We don't think that the pg will make it,but we feel better knowing that the baby is trying! We also feel better being able to see the baby instead of never getting to se it at all.
Please respond.any news would be helpful

Pray! Pray for Him to do what is in His will and to help you through it. I know what you are going through. But I would say in your case that it is not over until it is over. All things are possible through Him. I will pray for your baby to grow and those HCG levels to climb.
Good Luck to you. Let us know how things are going with you.

You have a tough little one in there...and a trickster too, I should say!!
Just wanted to send a prayer your way, and let you know that my mental boxing gloves are on to help your baby fight!
No matter what happens, my thoughts are with you...
Take care of yourself and keep us posted...

Here's what's going on with my little fighter(whom we have named baby flicker-because the heart beat looks like a little flicker on the ultrasound).I have an appt tomorrow for ultrasound and bloodwork(9am pacific time). My breasts are a little less sore, still fullish but not as tender so I am worried that my HCG has started to drop. No spotting or cramping.
Thank you for all of the prayers and we will keep you up to date.Go baby flicker!

Just wanted to add my prayers to you and little flicker!
Your hcg levels increasing is a very promising sign! And of course, seeing the heartbeat.
Please keep us posted and hope to join you on the June boards!

I want nothing more to be pg still and carry to term. I will post after my appointment and thanks again for all the thoughts and prayers. Have you ever heard of this happening before? I haven't.
Thanks,
Laura
Will keep you in my prayers.

It could be that the baby implanted later than they thought. Who knows! But you have a heartbeat. And the HCG #s did climb. I will continue to keep you in my prayers.
