Pregnancy crisis!

After weeks and weeks of coming on here and tring to figure out if I was pregnant or not, I finally had my blood drawn yesterday, 9/15, at Planned Parenthood. Ater I took the test I came home nd waited the hour that the R.N. told me for the results. When I called back, she clearly stated, "The results came back positive! You are six and a half weeks and due in May." I could barely breathe I was so thrilled and couldn't wait to tell my husband. Not believing the news, I called back to confirm and asked again if they were 100% sure the results were positive. They said it was definite I was pregnant. I told everyone I know the exciting news last night. Shortly thereafter, I went out to dinner and had a pretty relaxing night. When i went to the restroom later I noticed I was bleeding a dark brown color. I tried not to worry because the doctor had told me earlier that dark colored blood was okay as long as it was not red. As the night progressed, I noticed the color started getting lighter and lighter and by morning it was too pink for comfort. I had my mom take me to the emergency room to find out what was going on. When I got there the doctor immediately took my blood. While the results were pending, I was taken in for a ultrasound. The lab techs in ultrasound said they couldn't find anything in my uterus. But that the embryo could be too small. So they sent me back to the regular exam room to wait for the results of my blood test. When I got back, I sat with my mom and waited and talked about what was happening. The doctor walked in and immediately said, "You're not pregnant. The blood test results came back negative and the hcg hormone is undetectable in your blood." I was crushed. I was so exciting about having a baby. I came home and talked to my husband and family about it and they told me to keep my head up; that everything would be okay and that someone probably made a mistake. We went out to run a couple of errands and when we returned I went to the restroom and found thick red blood as clear and as heavy as a regular period although I was having no pain whatsoever. Has anyone heard of something like this happening before? How could Planned Parenthood detect a hormone that was apparently never even there?? Does this heavy bleeding completely rule-out my positive results? Please help. I have never been through anything like this before.

Hi... I'm so sorry for your situation. I can't imagine being in your shoes right now. I wish I had some great answers, but I don't.
