Hello, nice to be back! It's been awhile!

I have a question about the New Choice pregnancy tests from the Dollar Tree.

Since it was after the time frame for reading the test result, I'd say it's most likely an evaporation line. Pregnancy after a tubal ligation is very rare. How old are you? Personally, I'd test again in a few days to see what the test shows if your period hasn't shown up. If your period doesn't come, you may want to speak with your doctor about missing a period and request a blood test. There are many reasons our periods can be late, such as stress, diet changes, new exercise routines, and some illnesses. I hope you can get a definite answer soon.

Hi and thank you for your reply! I am 35 years old. You're probably right but I guess until my period starts, I'm going to worry! Especially with odd and end symptoms, too. I thought my days of this kind of thing were over! Hahaaaaa....guess it's off to buy another test or 2, and go to the doctor if nothing happens.....altough I dread it. I always feel stupid in that case :p

Did anyone in your family have early menopause? I know it would be way early for you, but if the women in your family entered perimenopause early, then it could be something to keep an eye out for. Good luck!

Well I'm not sure, but you brought up an interesting point, so I asked my Mom; waiting on an email back about that. I have had hormonal symptoms off and on since my 20's, and I have mentioned "menopause" here lately but have never taken it seriously. If in fact this isn't a pregnancy then that is definitely worth mentioning to a doctor, and getting some labs done.

Ok Mom said she hit menopause at 45 and her mom was around that or later. She also pointed out that thyroid issues can cause all this which is a good point so that's somethng else I need to have checked since it's been awhile. I feel too young to be falling apart....so it's either a fluke pregnancy, hormones or thyroid. So far those are my suspicions (:
