I need help.

As i lay here on my recliner i feel these mild cramps and i've been feeling them for a few days already so i'm wondering if this is normal? I got my BFP on monday but i've been feeling the cramping from a couple days before. The discomfort feels totally different than AF cramps.

My doc appointment is on 9/3 so sorry if perhaps i'm overracting.

You are not overreacting just concerned, right? Well don't be, it is very normal and probably won't go away for a while. What you are feeling is your uterus growing and pushing on your muscles "down there" and also alot of pressure on your bladder. I am 23 weeks along and I still that stretching crampy feeling occasionally. It was really bad in the first trimester and didn't really ease up until about 14 weeks. It can be fun to be pregnant but it can also be painful so just hang in there, it is for a very good cause.

Hi. I am in the same situation as you. I just got a positive test yesterday, but I have been having cramps for days (I actually thought I was getting AF!). Everyone (including an OB) has reassured me that it is normal - though of course I am still a little nervous. Though I feel better that many women have experienced the same exact thing so it seems pretty normal. Hope this helps to ease your mind that there are others experiencing the same exact thing! Good luck. Jen

Most people will say that type of cramping is normal, but if it is enough to make you concern, I would put a call in to my Doc, just to make him aware. He may have wanted to see you earlier. Well, congrats on your H&H 9 mths, I will keep u in my prayers. I also got a BFP monday, ghylie, my 1st doc appt was yesterday (confirm at his office). I also had some cramping, but it could have been implantation for me b/c it was 2 saturdays ago. Have not had any since. But to let you know how serious some different types of discomforts can be! I told my Doc I had a sharp pain above my symphis pubis, or above my hair line(pelvic area). It was not enough to keep me woke, but it was enough to make me think, or concern. It lasted about 10 minutes. Well he ordered an U/S = ultrasound Sept 9, to rule out = R/O ectopic. He said that is one of the signs, for me. I have never had an ectop. but I have had 2 m/c in 3 yrs, the last one being in June 2003. I have a sick sense about alot of things, an I told my fiancee try not to worry. I have peace of mind about this pregnancy, an I am confident that every thing will turn out OK. Keep me in your prayers. CONGRATS AGAIN BOO, GET PLENTY OF REST... XOXOXOXO
