Pregnant or Just Going Crazy?

Hi all, I could definitely use some reassurance. On the day I was supposed to start my new pack of birth control pills (a Sunday), the pharmacy told me the wrong hour that they closed, and were closed when I got there. My husband and I had been intimate that afternoon. The next morning the pharmacist apologized and told me to take the previous day's pill right then and then that day's pill at my normal time and I should be fine. About five days later I started feeling like my period was going to start, and that's been constant since then (a little over a week). I've never had cramps before my period like this, and it's not supposed to start for another week and a half! I swear my breasts seem a little larger, and I haven't been very hungry except for random times and things (like cheese lol). Some smells *seem* to be more intense. My moods have been up and down too. I feel sorry for my husband. I just moved to a new city and state, and I don't even have a doctor here yet. I called an obgyn and they said to wait until my period is late to come in for a blood test. And the home preg. test that I bought said I need to wait until three days before my period is due. That's a week and two days. I'm going to be **INSANE** by that point. Is it possible that I could be pregnant, though I'm on the pill and a dose was just delayed? What does it mean if I'm *not* pregnant-- that I'm imagining all this? I need help, especially since I don't have a group of girlfriends here in my new city that I can run to!

I don't believe you are pregnant since the dose was only one day delayed and you wouldn't have o'd (ovulate). Ovulation is 2 weeks prior to your next period. The signs your feeling could be from worrying about getting pg (pregnant) and the move. or if you've changed brands of bcp (birth control pills). good luck to you and enjoy your new home. hope you get what you want. this is a great board!
