I found out that I am pregnant (6 weeks along) and have just now started taking Prenatal Pills. As I have heard that it is beneficial if one takes them a month before conception. My concern is that I have started too late and may have cause possible defects to my child. Can anyone put my mind at ease with letting me know of the risks I have placed on my child.

Hi there... I agree with pp, that if you're TTC you should start them prior to conception, but if you didn't know you were going to be pg this month because you weren't really even trying, you should be fine. Just continue to take them now...try not to worry.

Good luck! Congratulations on your pregnancy! :)
