Hi,
could anyone tell me how your cervix would feel at the time of a missed period(if you were pregnant)
Would it be to early to get any changes??

As you may know, during ovulation, the cervix rises a bit, progressing from low, closed and firm before ovulation to higher, open and soft around ovulation. It returns to its pre-ovulatory status within a few days.
During pregnancy -- under the influence of progesterone and within a week of the missed period -- the cervix softens and begins to drop a bit.
By five to six weeks from the last period, the neck of the cervix becomes soft and can almost feel as if it were disconnected from the uterus.

Hope this helps!
I was also wondering if the sore nipples that people have mentioned are exactly the same as what you get before a period.
I usually get sore nipples before a period but a kind of superficial pain?!?
for the last maybe three days I have have sore nipples but it does feel different ..Alot deeper (I think thats the best way to describe it) does anyone know if this kind of pain is more like prenancy or a period.
sorry for asking stupid questions but this was unexpected and the first time its happened so I really dont know much about pregnancy etc..!
thanks again
Now, I don't get sore boobs, Or nipples. I do know that pregnancy boobs are down deeper as you described. I had those same pains yesterday, And my nipples are much larger, And very dark! Do you have any other symptoms? Because, I didn't have any symptoms until I was months into my pregnancy!
When is period due? Mine is due tomorow, And no signs of PMS!
Hay, I hope this helps a little. Let us know if you test!

My period is due today
I dont check all the time either so I am having trouble saying how different it is to normal as well...
I dont suppose you know if being ill can affect that do you?
