Thank you so much for replying back so quickly.
Well, I'm feeling a little aprehensive about it all.
I know what you mean.
I need to take my three degrees.
good luck. there are a LOT of symptoms but also remember that the mind is a powerful thing. If you think about the symptoms your body might 'develop' them and theyre also close to AF symptoms.
-Nauseua & dizziness (can also be stress)
-bloating and cramps (can also be PMS)
-exhaustion (could be a cold, stress, poor diet)
-Sore nipples, sore breasts &
enlargening of aerolas, breasts (could also be PMS)
- mood swings (could be stress/PMS)
- excessive urination (could be UTI if painful)
- excessive cervical mucous (I think its a thick creamy texture youre looking for)
- Temperature is running a little higher than usual. (not a fever though)
GL & HTH!

There are a few things for you to consider. I can't recall how long ago you said this happened, but if you definitely do not want a baby right now, you can take the 'Morning After' pill up to 5 days after the possible conception.
As far as your chances for actually getting pregnant from your 'oops'? About 1 in 4. With all things being optimal for both partners, doing everything right, a woman only has about a 25% chance of conceiving (there is a higher chance for a 'chemical pregnancy' to occur, which usually gets flushed from your body before you even know about it). On the other hand, yes... people can and do get pregnant from only having sex one time.
As for symptoms... well I just found out (three days ago) that I'm pregnant. I'm still very early, I tested the morning of the second day of my missed period.
I haven't had many symptoms up to this point and didn't believe my husband when he kept telling me I was pregnant. Realize, we have been TTC (off and on) for about three years now. I turned 36 in April. During that time, I have had pretty much every symptom one could ask for and always gotten a negative HPT.
That being said, the few symptoms I have noticed THIS time (that I actually am pregnant) have been....
- tender boobs (usually get that before AF comes)
- decreasing appetite, not really nausea yet (although I had some today), but more of a general lack of interest in food.
- lost some weight
- mini-cravings twice.. once was very early on, about a week after conception. I basically just suddenly 'tasted' fritos, really strong. It was odd because I never eat them, haven't in years and don't even really like them. I passed it off as oddness.
- mild AF-like cramps (that has been going on for about a week now), along with other strange little cramps and twinges in my entire lower abdomen area and back.
- and probably the strongest indicator I've had, higher than normal temperature.
I don't just mean charting in the morning, which I used to do and eventually quit, but taking my temperature throughout the day. Now, I have to say that I've found it fairly normal for my temp to be a little high toward the end of my cycle, say... around 98.8 on average, but this has ALWAYS dropped a day or so before AF started. This time, it stayed up and sometimes goes over 99.0 degrees.
Whatever you hope for, good luck. :)
