Hi, everyone! Does anyone know anything about implantation bleeding and cramping?? I have not had my monthly cycle for February, and my fiance and I have unprotected intercourse. I was just trying to figure out if I may be pregnant. I slept all day yesterday, and am having some cramping and browinsh spotting. Not enough to need sanitary napkins, but still browqn discharge. I also am finding it very uncomfortable to lay on my tummy, or side. Oh, and last night I got sick :( .
I am purchasing a hpt on Friday, but do these symptoms sound familiar to anyone??

hey cassey,
i dont know but i am experiencing something similar to you as we speak. I have been getting regular periods since Oct 2006 like clockwork.....and for the last month my partner and i have been having unprotected sex. I have been eagerly waiting to do a pregnancy test on the 4th of March but today.....being the 1st i have just started getting some bleeding. i was really sad as i thought it was my period coming but now i guess it could also be this implantation bleeding.....i dont know what to think. Its not heavy but its only really just started so i have to wait and see if it turns into a full period.....i hope not!! but i think i will just take the pregnancy test tomorrow morning....what do you think? it should affect the test if i am bleeding should it???? HELP!!! xxx
Lisa,
As far as bleeding affecting the pregnanc test... I don't think it will. As long as you are taking your hpt with first morning urine, I believe it should detect any pregnancy hormone in your system. I knew someone who got her period on time and was still pregnant. Also, you could just be late. I got some advice in another forum that told me if the blood is light pink or brown in color and is more like spotting.. as in when you go pee, you see it when you wipe, but not near enough blood for you to have to use a tampon, or a pad... then that could be implantation bleeding. It should not be red or dark in color, and should not be heavy.
I personally am still having occasional bleeding, none of it red and not much at all, when it happens. I plan to take my test tomorrow.
I hope I kinda helped!
