Hello!

About 3 months ago I got extremely ill with a bacterial infection in my stomach I ended up in the hospital and while I was in the hospital they decided to do a cat scan and found a blood clot in my pelvis. They say it was from the Birth Control I was on and the fact my blood clots easily so immediately they put me on Warafin Coumadin blood thinners and also made me quit the Birth Control right away. Almost 2 weeks ago my hubby and I got a little out of control and for the first few minutes did not use protection, I didnt think a few minutes would do anything. So now for the last week I have been feeling really weird. I am nauseous all day long but not enough to make me throw up and Im still hungry. I have had really bad cramping, but it is not like my menstrual cramps and I have been gassy and constipated and have a little diahreaha. My period shouldnt come for about 2 more weeks. Is it even possible to have symptoms already? My biggest concern is Blood thinners are extremely dangerous to take when trying to or are pregnant they have a really high risk of birth defects. Today I have a appt with my family doctor to check up on my blood and such. Should I say something to him or is it just too soon and silly? Or can he even do anything this early? My appt is at 3:20 MST so any advice before then would be helpful!

Thanks!

I know it seems crazy too, but I had symptoms right away. Within at least the first 3 weeks or so, even before my test came back positive. I was always tired, hungry, and had to pee every 30 minutes.

So I just got back from my doctors appt. When I told him all my symptoms he said Are you Pregnant? I said I had no clue and asked if it could be the blood thinners making me sick and he said possibly and then kinda just let it go. So I didn't say anything else and we just talked about what I went there for. So I have no clue. If I continue to have the symptoms how long do I have to wait to start testing, I should start my period on the like 13th of February.

Sorry to jump in on your posts here, but I wanted to answer your question on when to test. For the most accurate result you should wait until the day or day after your missed period. When I got my BFP I was using tests from the $ tree and they gave me a very accurate result. If you want something a little higher quality I would go with First Response as I have had A LOT of trouble getting weird/incomplete lines with Clear Blue Easy.
Good Luck to you! I hope you get the answer your looking for!
