My husband and I started ttc about 4 months ago. This past month we didnt BD in the week I was O (according to my ovulation calender, I didnt use an OPK) so I thought I had totally missed the week that we had any chance of concieving for this month. Although my period was late last month so I realy should have used an OPK this month...anyhow we BD probaly a week after I think I O and 2 days later I felt the sharpist pain on the right side of my abdomine it lasted only a moment and it didnt feel anything like gas pain or menstral craps. Do you think this means anything? Im just holding on to hope that I could possibly be pregnant this month! When I was pregnant with my daughter I distictly remember getting a sharp pain in my side about 2 days after conceiving her. maybe its just a coinsadince? (yeah i know thats spelled wrong! LOL!)
Oh I forgot to mention when I did the ovulation calender I did it by my usual 28 day cycle even though the month before my period was kind of late. I bled a tiny tiny bit on cd 28 but then it stopped for 3 days and then I got my normal period. That never happens so I just went by my normal cycle.
This is so confusing! with my daughter it was like BAM pregnant no trying. ehhh I wanna get a BFP already!
Thanks for any input!

Hello,
I do not know about the pain but if it happend 2 days after BD, I do not think it is related to pregnancy. It takes 7-10 days past ovulation for implantation to occur. This is when a small number of women FEEL implantation and symptoms can occur.
Also, using an Ovulation Calender is a bad idea if you are trying to avoid pregnancy. You can ovulate at anytime during your cycle or not at all even if your period is exact every month.
I normally O (I chart my temps and use OPKs) on CD14. Last cycle I Oed on CD10 and this cycle at CD15. The best thing to do is use a form of birth control. Calenders are not reliable.
