Should I test?

So, we arent officially ttc until next month. Well, we had one time this month where we took no precautions- spur of the moment kind of thing, lol! Anywho, it was several days after ovulation, I am pretty sure. Well, here I am, day 32 and no period! I was expecting to get it on day 30, considering what it has been for the past few months. Although, this past year I have had it come day 32-35 once or twice so this isn't totally off the wall. I know we did it around ovulation too, but we used a condom each time. I feel SO tired and the 'girls' are mighty sore, which happens around AF, but this seems extreme- much like my first trimester, although I could totally be wishful thinking... So, should I test or wait? I *HATE* wasting money on pg tests, but I am SO impatient to know. Plus we have a party tomorrow and I know I will want to have a couple cocktails, plus I am a social smoker, so I really should know asap so I can stop these naughty behaviors, lol. Note: PLEASE, no words on the evils of either alchohol or cigarettes for non-pregnant women- I am an informed adult making my own terrible chioices, lol!
I also know that the liklihood of conceiving that long after ovulation isn't good at all, and I am pretty sure I knew when I ovulated, but now I have myself having doubts...
What do you all think? Any input appreciated:)

Is it possible to have O'd later than you thought? In all honesty, the only way you're going to know is to test.
