Should I Test??

Hi Ladies –
De-lurking to ask a question - Is it possible to have a lighter than normal period and still be PG? About 2 ½ weeks ago AF was a few days late and considerably lighter than normal (normal is 5 VERY HEAVY days and 2-3 spotting – last AF was 2 somewhat heavy days and another day or two of spotting). I am unsure if taking a PG test would work because technically I have not missed a period. I have so many symptoms – Breasts are SO sore and swollen, extreme mood swings that are FAR from my normal, my previous pregnancies left me with terrible varicose veins that only hurt the first day or so of my period, they have not stopped aching since before my ‘light’ period, an appetite that just won’t quit and cravings for foods I don’t normally eat – like chocolate, I feel bloated all over, an odorless vaginal discharge... I am so confused - DH and I treid for over a year to get PG with both of our daughters (7 and 4)- this was just ONE time - it just CAN'T be that easy - can it?????
Should I test or wait for another 10 days to see if I actually miss AF?
Thanks for ANY advise you can give.
Tracy

Hi Tracy!
Welcome and thanks for "de-lurking"! :) I dunno, it's hard to tell...usually implantation bleeding is much much lighter than a normal period, but even though you said it's lighter for you,the fact that you had 2 days of heavy flow makes me doubtful. I say it can't hurt to test though...but you might want to wait a couple days. If that was in fact implantation bleeding, you'd need time for the

Thanks so much for your input - I probably don't have to worry but I think I will just go ahead and test anyway. At least I could de stress a bit then - I hope. Guess me and my girls are heading to the store after I get out of work.
