HI ladies - here we are mon 3 ttc and dbf and I still haven't gotten lucky. af is due on the 14th so we still have a week to go to see if we got lucky this time. Okay - so bf and I bd'd on the 30th, 31st, 1st, 2nd.... all the days I was fertile. So - my question is how soon after should I be feeling symptoms? Yesterday morning and this morning I was nauseous - I know this could be in my head - but I wasn't thinking about it until this morning when it happened again. Also - I'm feeling a bit congested in the lower abdomen area. Am I just getting sick? or could this be morning sickness already?

Thanks,

I am due to start AF on the 17th, but yesterday morning I was so nausuas and even threw up after having something to drink. I was nasuaous this morning but no throwing up this time. A lady that my husband works with has 3 grown children, 2 are twins. She said the day after she conceived the twins, she was sick and and it lasted 4 months. I have read that it usually starts around week 5 or 6, from the first day of your LMP, but she swears it was the day after conception for her. So I guess its possible!

I don't mean to get you all down because my husband and I tried for 1 1/2 years to get pregnant so i know what you are going though. but be really really careful if you want somthing bad enough you will read into everything. Maybe you are pregnant...I hope so, but remember that you don't feel most symptoms for weeks. again i don't want to be a downer but it's eaiser to thiunk that you aren;t pregnant (again) and find out you were wrong :) than to read into every little thing convincing yourself you are and then find out you were wrong :( please dont get mad at me .... I'm sorry to say this, but about 7 months into trying i thought I was pregnant, i skipped a whole month, sore bb, sex every firtle day, nausous, tired....you get my point. we took tests-they came back negitive, we went to the doctor - negitive again. that was really hard. (we even bought baby furnature and a car seat etc....i learned the hard way-hopefully you wont have to.

one last word, when my husband and i were trying i thought it would never happen. 2 tests a month for 1 1/2 years...lol...i could send the baby to college on what i spent on tests...but now, we just found out I'm pregnant and the 1 1/2 just doesn't seem that long. like, the wait was worth it, God's time is best. Now my son will be potty trained BEFORE i get to the BIG pregnant stage. and we are really really ready for another one. God knows and His time is best. Keep your chin up...

again, i hope I'm wrong...but its better to hear this and get ready for af than to go into a depression when it somes.

Well, I can promise it wasn't all in my head, I was throwing up, and now the whole office is sick, and throwing up. Must have been the stomach flu going around. As for getting symptoms and dreaming up symptoms, I have been trying to conceive for 3 months now and the only symptom I have thought I had was being late for 6 days...and even then I didn't think I had any symptoms at all. I realize its only 3 months and not a year and a 1/2, but I think I am okay in that department. I have yet to imagine any symptoms.

You don't have to worry about me going overboard and buying baby furniture and a car seat before I find out that I am not pregnant either...I would never jump to conclusions that badly...once I finally am pregnant, I don't think I will beleive it till the day the baby comes...so I will certainly wait till I am at least showing before I start buying furniture!

I was simply just asking if anybody else had ever had early symtoms of morning sickness so I could rule it out and figure out what was causing me to throw up. I kind of thought thats what this board was for, so that we could share questions like that. Next time I will try to wait it out before I ask a stupid question I guess. Or better yet I will just bug my doctor!

Thanks for your advice though, you were correct. Glad to hear you were finally able to get pregnant, and good luck with the entire 9 months and beyond!!

Hi there. I posted a message similar to yours tonight. I guess I would say it is possible to feel naseous so soon, as stated in my message, I do too. It has eased up a bit, but can be intense. I have all the same questions, too. With my daughter, Kaylie, it only took a few months--a bit of optimism for you (: Good luck to you and keep us all posted.
