Skipped period on bc pills...

Okay, here's the deal. I am on my 4th month of taking Microgestin birth control pills. My first three periods were light, but lasted between 2 to 3 days (sometimes skipping a day between). They came as scheduled according to the pack. This month my period never came. After 3 days I took a pregnancy test - neg. 5 days - neg. I have always taken my pills regulary, and never missed even one. I'm not the type of person to not research medicine I'm taking and I found out that it is possible to skip periods while on this particular pill. The problem I am facing is that I feel slightly nauseous in the mornings for about 20 mins, my nipples are very sore, and I am peeing all the time (as soon as I come back from going, I need to go again!). So my question to all of you is, "It's pretty impossible for me to get pregnant on these pills since I don't smoke or take any other medicines, so how could I have missed my period and now have early pregnancy symptoms?" The instructions that are in the pack of pills say to continue taking them like you would normally and wait until you miss your next period which is what I am doing, but has this happened to anyone else and wound up being pregnant?

I don't really have an answer to your question, but I am pretty much going through the same thing that you are right now. I have been taking my birth control pill and I never miss. I have been nauseaus for 4 weeks now, along with alot of other "pregnancy" symptoms. I took an HPT 2 weeks ago, negative and one 2 days ago, positive and another one at the doctor's office, negative. I am waiting for my blood results.
I have heard of other women getting pregnant while taking birth control, but I don't know how good they are at not forgetting to take their pill on time.
Me, on the other hand, I know that I am very good at taking my pills on time, yet I am having these symptoms.
Have you taken a test yet?
