Here's the info: My boyfriend and I have never had intercourse, but do engage in other sexual activities (oral, mutual masterbation, etc.) We are usually really good about when and where he comes. But it just so happened that one time last month, he came really close to my vagina and may or may not have gotten some semen in the area. I didn't worry too much about it, didn't think I would get pregnant, till recently. My period is over a week late. Friends have been pointing out how I'm saying I'm always hungry which is not like me. And being around food sometimes is making me nauseas. I'm always overly tired and my boobs are sore. I wasn't worried till people where mentioning all this to me. So I got an at home test a few days ago and it came out neg, but reading some of these other posts, some have said theirs came out neg but they really were pregnant. And also I took it late at night when I guess it's best to do it in the morning...my question or questions, should I take it again to be sure, or more then likely it was right and it's just something else going a little haywire in my body? And, would it be too early to have any symptons anyway?
While I love children (I live to teacher) I'm only 21 and in no way ready for a child. And I would really hate having to explain that I'm pregnant, yet I didn't have sex:D So I'm really hoping I'm just imagining this. Thanks for the help in advance:)

Dear Amora12,
My suggestion would be to take another test tomorrow morning with your first urine stream. Though it seems very unlikely considering you didn't have actual intercourse, if you are a very fertile person there is a slight possibility. If taken too early pregnancy tests can provide negative results due to not enough of the hormone HCG in your system yet. Good luck to you and I hope that you get the results that you are looking for.
