somebody please respond

I posted a message a little while ago and no one has responded yet, sorry to be so impatient but I really want help. A couple of weeks ago I thought I was pregnant because my breasts were sore and noticeably larger and I was sleeping (a lot) more than normal and I was more moody and eating more. Normally nothing happens to my breasts when I'm about to get my period so I was sure I was pregnant. I bought a First Reponse test (actually two) and took one on thursday of last week. Two lines appeared but the second one was very faint. So I decided to wait until I was one day late from my period. I thought I was supposed to start on sunday, I didn't start so I took another test yesterday and the same thing happened. Today, I started my period...normally during my period I only have bad back pain. (in my lower back) now I have pain in my lower abdomen and my lower back. Someone please help me understand what's going on??? Why was my body doing all those changes acting like it was pregnant if I started my period?

Not sure if I can be of any help - but I think a line is a line. Maybe this isn't really your period but just some spotting? My advice would be to take another test and see if the lines still appear, wait it out for a day and see if the bleeding lightens up and/or stops and then call your dr who would be able to tell you for sure what's going on. Also, I've heard that some women get their period and pregnant at the same time.
I hope I helped.

I had a similar situation a few months back. I was testing before my period was due and got a faint line. I started to bleed about 10 days after my period was due. Phoned the dr. right away. They will two 2 blood tests 2 days apart. They test the hcg levels. In my case, mine were not consistent with normal levels, and it was determined my pregnancy was ectopic. This is a high concern. Ectopic pregnancies can be dangerous if not caught early. I hope this isn't the case with you. I will be hoping, and watching to see how you make out.

I am very new to this forum. I don't know from personal experience, but my mother had her period for three months when she was pregnant with me. So there is a possibility for you to be pregnant and still get your monthly visitor. Maybe you should see your ob/gyn doc for conformation.
good luck
