okay, i want to say the first day of my last period was August 10th, or 11th..not sure, can't remember. but around that time nonetheless. anyways, i had unprotected sex a week later, on the 18th. around last week, my boobs started getting sore, and as the days went by it just got worse and worse. Now, i've been pregnant before, when i was i was 17 (i'm 20 now), but lost the baby, but anyways, i remember my boobs getting really sore about a week before i should have gotten my period and i just FELT different and i knew i was pregnant right away, and i'm kinda getting this feeling again. like i said, i've been pregnant before, so i know this soreness is different than the regular PMS tenderness, i havent felt my boobs be this sore since i was pregnant the first time. also this morning for the first time at work i actually felt naseaus for a few minutes. and i've been eating way too much...probably out of anxiety because of all this.
ANYWAYS, my real question i guess is this...i know there are certain days where your more likely to get pregnant...the 2 weeks before your period, correct? but arent the 2 weeks AFTER your period the days when your least likely to get pregnant? because i had sex about 3 or 4 days after my period ended, so i thought it wasn't possible to get pregnant then? or is it?? im sure it IS possible, but how likely??....my period never comes on the same day every month, but i get it around this time, so i'm thinking of just waiting it out another week, but i really feel like i am...
sorry so much, im just super worried. im 20 years old, the guy was just a friend and its just the last thing i need right now...

Hi,
Why dont you buy home pregnancy test kit available over the counter in every pharmacy and check it yourself, AS now a days you can find your results instantly if you are pregnant,,and as far as dates are concern i think safest time is a week before the PMS and not after,,
Be calm and do right :)
Ok, here's the thing. In women with "regular" 28 day cycles, ovulation will occur on day 14 counting from the first day of your last period. Ovulation is the release of the egg from the ovary and an egg is only viable for 12-24 hours, so you are most fertile in the days leading up to ovulation. This would be about 10-14 days from the start of your last period. After ovulation, the chances of conception decrease, so even on cycle day 14, you have a slim chance of conceiving. So even though it seems that 14 days after your period is the same as 14 days before, in conception lingo, they're very different. Also remember that sperm have longevity.
Hope this helps!
