Hello,

I have a question. I have been on birth control, Ovcon 35 for about 6 months now. My boyfriend and I almost always wear condoms when having sex. On day 22 of my 28 day cyccle my boyfriend and I had sex and the condom broke and he came inside me. However, I did have some bleeding this month. I ended up gettin my period on day 26, 27, and 28, and it was quite heavy. And now that I am on my placebo pills..it is not heavy and actually really light. Is it possible that I am pregnant? Please help. I just started college and it is making me sick to think about. I need some advice. Thank you in advance.

All college campuses have a Med center. To enroll in classes you probibly paid a fee that will let you go to the med center. Your RA would know where the Med center is. If you don't want to do that you can always go to Planned Parenthood. They can do the test and almost always offer some kind of a payment play. You can always just wait it out. Most likely all of the changes of moving, starting college and trying to figure out where you fit into the picture is stressful!! Big chages can mess up your cycles. Good luck with everything!

If you were taking your pills everyday around the same time each day, the chances of you being pregnant are less than 1%. At lest that is the case with my pills Ortho-Tri-Cyclen (28 days). Hope this helps :)

Dear nszep16,

You shouldnt stress it if you got a regular period theres no call for concern. Usually fertility is in the middle of your cycle and from i could tell you were at the end. Unless you start getting some pregnancy symptoms you are alright.

Dear nszep,

I highly doubt you're pregnant!! If you bled heavily for 3 days, even if was early, you're most likely okay. When I was on the patch, I sometimes started my period halfway through the 3rd week and it was done by placebo time. Try not to worry... just starting college is enough of a change to make your hormones a little off kilter. Also, being terrified of pregnancy will do it, too. 99.99999 percent chance you're not preggers! And listen to the woman who said you should take a test at the health center on campus... that'll ease your mind.

good luck!!
