still no period!! stretching ligaments?

hey everybody this is just an update on my previous two posts...well I am 6 days late today...and I am NEVER late, let alone almost an entire week. My last period started on 11/7 and my cycles are 28 days long. I am almost sure I'm pregnant. My breasts have gotten increasingly tender, and have been swollen and sore for 4 days now (and they usually get sore a week before AF, not the day after AF is late!). I keep saying that this coming week will tell if AF will show and my cycle is just running behind...but I have been feeling really weird "cramps" in my lower abdomen, the other night I was sitting on the couch and it just felt like something was gently tugging on something down there, sometimes it feels like a long stretch, sometimes it feels like a bubble bursting. It's not painful or cramp-like at all. This is when I really started to believe that I could really be pregnant. This feeling has continued since then, all day at work yesterday.

And I have definitely noticed a big change in my appetite, too. I can eat a full meal and be hungry again just a couple hours later.

I have taken two HPTs and both are negative, one was taken 12/5 (CD 28), and then again on 12/7 (CD 30)...I have one more waiting but I think I'm going to take it tomorrow when AF is a full week late.

Does this sound promising??? I read about the stretching ligaments thing, is that what they're supposed to feel like?

Be hopeful! I think I may have implanted yesterday, and about a week and a half ago, I started feeling really "stretchy" in my extreme lower abdomen. Not crampy; almost like someone was in my abdomen with a fistful of rings scraping my abdomen outward. Almost painful, not quite. Then about 5 days ago, my breasts got very swollen, noticeably bigger, and ever since then, I've been leaking colostrum (I am a veteran nurser). Period is now on the second day late. I'm staying hopeful. My periods aren't regular, but I've been on the pill for like 4 cycles, so I expected my 1st period off of it to be on time. Formerly, my periods start on days 17-23, so either way, I'm late. However, like you, I've also gotten BFN - MANY more than I want to share (I'm addicted when I believe I'm pregnant :)

Good luck; let me know how it turns out. You'll get your BFP really soon! Keep your spirits up.

Yea I kinda am in the same place. I am at least a week late for my period, and I'm never late. So that's really odd...but I've had three negative tests. The last one was Saturday, so if I don't get my period I'll take another one this Saturday. It's so frustrating! For the past 2 weeks or so I've felt so tired, increased appetite, and liking/not liking certain foods. Yet still the negatives..so I'm pretty confused haha Tell us how things go!

Okay, so I'm soooo in for that party, and I am definitely in support of the meat thermometer. I'm having a really hard time right now. I'm late for my period, have been having every s/s of pregnancy, and yet had neg hpt's. Two days ago, I had pink streaked mucus (just like my impl bleeding for my son), and last night I made my way to our ER clinic because of another wipe of light pink mucus and cramping. I had a really tough time in the beginning of my son's pregnancy, so I was afraid of a troubled pregnancy (ectopic). Their blood, quant/qual both, tests came back neg. But still no period, and my intuition deep down tells me I FEEL pregnant. I don't have an OB/GYN right now, so I have no where to turn to. Can I still be, even if the first tests were neg (about 24 hours past when I would have had impl bleeding)? I know I need to wait, but I'm afraid, because a lot of times when the tests show such low levels of HCG, the pregnancy is destined to end. I'm so upset right now - I feel pregnant. Everyone around me swears I have ALL the s/s's of pg. What's up?????

I am having the same deal. I am about 5 days late and two neg HPT. I don't actually think I am pregnant though and here is why...my husband and I only had sex on the 18th of November (kind of a slow month eh). If I were actually pregnant, I would think it would show up by now, don't you?

Brenda-

Haven't we all had those slow months? I remember during the pregnancy of my son, I didn't even want to think about sex for at least half of the pregnancy. I wish you luck, love, and lots of baby dust. Are you ttc? If so, how long have you been trying? My husband and I tried during this past summer for 2-3 months, and then we just started back up again this past month. I have an appt with a new OB/GYN for tomorrow at 11 a.m. so hopefully we can get some resolve. Basically, it's tough because I have many of the s/s and I had some light spotting the other day very similar to the implanting with my son. I can't seem to convince myself I'm not pregnant. Basically, I fear an ectopic, because that can sometimes keep the hcg from rising, while still growing in you. Maybe I'm just going crazy...

My thoughts and prayers are with you; I know just how nerve-racking this is.
