hey everybody this is just an update on my previous two posts...well I am 6 days late today...and I am NEVER late, let alone almost an entire week. My last period started on 11/7 and my cycles are 28 days long. I am almost sure I'm pregnant. My breasts have gotten increasingly tender, and have been swollen and sore for 4 days now (and they usually get sore a week before AF, not the day after AF is late!). I keep saying that this coming week will tell if AF will show and my cycle is just running behind...but I have been feeling really weird "cramps" in my lower abdomen, the other night I was sitting on the couch and it just felt like something was gently tugging on something down there, sometimes it feels like a long stretch, sometimes it feels like a bubble bursting. It's not painful or cramp-like at all. This is when I really started to believe that I could really be pregnant. This feeling has continued since then, all day at work yesterday.
And I have definitely noticed a big change in my appetite, too. I can eat a full meal and be hungry again just a couple hours later.
I have taken two HPTs and both are negative, one was taken 12/5 (CD 28), and then again on 12/7 (CD 30)...I have one more waiting but I think I'm going to take it tomorrow when AF is a full week late.
Does this sound promising??? I read about the stretching ligaments thing, is that what they're supposed to feel like?

let us know how that apt. goes!!! I am seriously in the same boat!!! That damn blood test came back negative! (sorry for the swearing im so mad i could spit pregnancy tests) ::Sighs:: I work in a maternity store in the mall, I was reading a book about your pregnancy day by day, for those of us who are nuts and think we are, there is still hope! There has been documented occasions where women have had children when the doctor did the testing and the exam and found nothing. Didn't say how many, but there is still light at the end of the tunnel!
Until then, we should enjoy our prenatal strawberry daquaries, pin the positive on the pregnancy tests, and bobbing for folic acid apples...WHO IS WITH ME?!?! PARTY!
Well, I wish better for you all than I have seen today. I went into the docs, and there is something brewing, though it's not a baby. It's a big, fat cyst. And some thyroid trouble. I'm not new to this trouble of cysts, but I thought it was behind me since the birth of my son 17 mos ago. As for my AF, I guess the poking and prodding of a pelvic exam was enough to get the ball rolling, because it started after that. I'm saddened, but relieved to have some answers. We have to get my thyroid under control pre-baby, so I'm taking the time to lose some weight and clear up my cysts before ttc'ing again.
I wish you all the best. I will be leaving this board, as I don't think I'll be needing to go in this direction for a while. Hope to see this board again, soon enough, though!!
