Strange Symptoms

Ok, so for 10 days now I have been having pregnancy symptoms: enlarged and tender breasts, extreme fatigue, strange bowel movements, nausea, urinating frequently. I was supposed to start my period on Wednesday Feb. 7th, but it hasn't started yet. Took a HPT on Wednesday and then again on Saturday; both were negative.
Then, yesterday, I started cramping severely. Usually when my AF comes, I have some cramping and very heavy blood flow. The cramping has continued through the night and today. This morning I started "spotting"--I don't know if I can even call it that because it's not even in my panties but only a light pink when I wipe after urinating. What is happening? Has my period gone wacko or am I pregnant and having problems? I have never been pregnant before so I don't know. My husband and I just recently started trying. Help!

Not to pry but how long have you been off your bc? It took me a year and 3 months before I got pregnant. my husband and i finally accepted that we may need help to get pregnant when pop. I am now due in Sept.I am not trying to discurage you but I had all the same symptoms your having now tender breasts, nausous, and missed period by 6-8 weeks then all of a sudden I'd start to cramp REALLY bad and about a week later my menstral started.

You're not prying at all. I've been off BC for a year now, to the month.

just keep trying it will happen I promise. what kind of thyroid issue do you have? once again I dont want to pry. I have a sub medical hyperactive thyroid. which means that my body is gaining huge amounts of weight when my thyroid is producing less then normal amounts of hormone. thats what the doc says neway. she also told me that she cant treat it because my body isn't acting like the text book says it should.

Sorry I thought you had mentioned you had thyroid problems. my memory is horrible i had to go back and read all the notes. My doc told me that with my problem I could have issues getting pg. Nothing else is wrong with me and my ob/gyn didnt say anything about my thyroid causing problems. but I just assumed that was why I couldnt get pg. but then all of a sudden here we are. I appologize again for the mistake.
good luck!!!!
