Alrighty. Last period started on September 28. Not due again until the 26th of this month. Calculator I was using said that I was scheduled to ovulate on the 12th, and to try to concieve the 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th and 13th of this month. Which we did. On the 15th however, I noticed a change in my cervical mucus, going from a tacky opaque look, to sort of an egg whites look, and reading somewhere that this was indicative of ovulation, I made sure we tried to concieve those days as well.
Going by the change in my mucus as being ovulation, I notice about four days past ovulation when I awoke that morning, I practically fell back down, due to the enormous pains in my breasts. They were swollen huge, and so, so sore. They have continued like this for the remaining days of this month, for a total of about eight days or so. For the last four days, I have been spotting, mainly in the AM only, decreasing at night, till there is nothing until the next morning. This is a very very light pink, and is only noticible with restroom usage. Along with the spotting, I've had something along the lines of vertigo, only sitting down, doing nothing. I, at certain times, have gotten dizzy, for no reason, and I feel like I am falling. It recedes as quickly as it came on.
Other symptoms include: tiredness, back pain, abdomimal cramps different from those assoiciated with menses, EMOTIONAL (my poor husband), and my urine, as of last night, seems to have taken on a not so nice smell even though the color is almost clear, or that could be my sense of smell I suppose. Anyway.
Those are my symptoms. I took a urine test at the doctor's office yesterday, unfortuneately, it was negative. Have not taken home test, feel it might be slightly early. Any thoughts from anyone?
Thanks you guys.
Liz

I took mine in last week, and they said that it might be too early to tell,
so try a hpt.
First Response tells you (I believe) four days before you are due.
I am in a similar boat, but reversed -- I O'd on the 15th as well according to my CM . Luckily, we started trying on the 14th and hit it right. :-)
At this point, it's 9 DPO and likely too early to test with a HPT. I know that they won't do blood tests at the Dr. until 10 DPO, so it seems premature to expect a urine test to work. DH and I are going to test on Sunday morning with FMU just to see, but it still might be early. If it's negative, I'll likely *try* and wait till the end of the week (maybe the 30th).
Good luck and let us know!

Right now i believe i am going through very similar symptoms as yourself. Being that I have been pregnant before (but have no children)I can recognize and relate to the symptoms. I am now hoping to be pregnant so I know that the worse thing is having to wait. From the sounds of it, it seems like you are now very close to getting your period, or should have gotten it by now. If you havent, you should be about 3 days 2 days late,... take one. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you that you are pregnant... if you cross yours for me ok. Let me ask you a question... did you constantly feel that you were about to get your period once you were suppose to get it but it just never came? And do you still feel that way now? again, good luck...hope you get what you wish for and congratulations on your new marriage.
I was due for my period yesterday. My period is always the same, wake up to spotting, and then about noon, full blown with cramps and everything. Yesterday morning? Nothing. Today? Nothing. No. I do not feel as if any time now I am going to start my AF. To be honest, I feel rather pregnant. In addition to the first symptoms, I now have others, though my breasts seemed to have calmed down (Thank God). I have swelling in my fingers, lower back pain, and my lower abdomen feels as if I have done 100 situps (and you should know, I do not exercise.) I am tired all the time, hungry all the time, and I have quite a bit of symptoms on my list. One problmem though:
Two BFN's.
We used First Response, and got negatives both times. One was two days before AF was due, the other this morning.
I've never had symptoms like this, and it is ironic that we are ttc. Yet, if not pregnant, I will surely need to go to the doctor cause something horrible is wrong with me. Anyone else have symptoms like this that can be chalked up to something else??
