Hi All!

I posted a discussion the other day, about my husband and I going off the pill the beginning of September. AF still hasn't shown up, and I went to the doctor's today, with to my surprise, a Negative test.

I seem to have the symptoms of pregnancy, and in the back of my mind, I kind of hope that I am.

The last time I went off the pill, AF showed up on time, like 28 days later.

I am still feeling crampy, and tired, and I am very warm. (I am always freezing, so being warm is strange for me). Anyone who is pregnant, did they experience heat flashes?

My Doctor suggested that I wair atleast a week or so, and if AF doesn't show up, to take another test. One of my colleagues mentioned that in her first pregnancy, her test didn't show positive until a month into the pregnancy. Did anyone have to wait that long to find out? The suspense is killing me.

I am in the same situation as you. I took my last pill Sept. 13. My AF was due last week - I got cramps but no spotting or anything. I have extreme bloating, nausea, back pain, hip and butt pain, lightheaded, spider veins in bbs, etc. My face feels flushed right now and I have been very warm at night. HPT tests keep coming back negative. In the past when I went off pills I returned to normal right away. My Dr. said that if I didnt have my AF after 35 days to call them back. That point will be Thursday. I have heard that a lot of my symptoms could be due to a cyst. But I would MUCH prefer to be pregnant! I have heard of some women who didnt test positive until they were into their 2nd month. So I am holding out hope that when I go on Thursday that the exam will show I am pregnant. With my past history of fibroids they may send me for an ultrasound. This would be the perfect timing for a pregnancy with my husbands schedule - he is a newspaper sportswriter and gets 2 weeks paternity leave IF it doesnt fall during football or basketball season.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for both of us!

You sound like me! My husband is a CPA and I REFUSED to go into labor during tax season because he's probably be at the office on deadline and I'd be going at it alone!
