two week wait myths?

OK, I was just on the website twoweekwait.com and read some posts from women who have crazy habits during the two week wait. I was always under the impression you could live your "normal" life in the two week wait. Once the egg implants it implants. You could exercise or sky dive or sit motionless for two weeks and the result will be the same. Now I have just cleaned the house, lifted some furniture and done some other strenuous things....that site has gotten me worried! Can somebody tell me the real truth!?!? Thanks!!

Hi! Umm... I don't know about the 'sky diving' thing...but I think, and this is just my opinion, that if you're TTC you should probably treat your body as if you were pg when you're in the 2WW. I mean I know lots of women who have not even known they were pg until well past AF was due and they did alot of things, lift weights, drank alcohol, stuff like that and thier babies turned out fine. But I would say it's better to be safe than sorry, and even if you haven't got a + HPT yet, and you were trying to get pg, then you might as well treat your body good as soon as you can...JMHO, ya know? :)

I think its pretty safe to clean the house! Live your normal life.

OK - maybe the sky diving is a bit much, but besides that I think you are pretty safe.

I think the important things NOT to do are more like not drinking, smoking, doing drugs ect...
