uggghhh....still late, still negative?

Hey there ladies! I'm back to ask for a little more advice. Well, I am now 19 days late and have had numerous negative test results. I still "feel" like I might be pregnant and I really want to know whats going on. I went to the doctor today because on Friday I started having a weird sharp pain in my extreme lower abdomen, mostly whenever I was walking and stepped with my left foot (when it hit the ground) and also whenever I sit down hard. I'm not overweight or anything if that has anything to do with it. Well, they didn't so much worry at all about the pain and won't really worry about it unless I am actually pregnant. They did ANOTHER (the 3rd) blood test today and I'll get the results back today, I have a sinking feeling that the results will be negative as I took a HPT yesterday morning and it was negative. NO, I haven not been stressed out about anything really, just curious and maybe a tad bit worried about whats going on with me but other than that I am pretty sure that even if I was stressed out that my period would have come by now! The doctor told me that I need to act as though I am pregnant and take care of myself at least until we get a positive result or I get my period. I have been doing some research and read that there have been women who had negative results until they were 3 to 6 months pregnant! Has anyone experienced this before? Does anyone have any advice for me? Thanks so much!

For my second DD I had my last period starting on 14 august, and I had a positive result from my test only on 7 October...wait and try again :-)

Hey I have been where you are.
I did find some relieving and at the same time dissappointing truths.
#1 Sometimes you just don't ovulate and as a result you won't have a period until you do. I know that is not true for everyone who doesn't ovulate and their bodies still have periods. For me that was the case.
#2 Sometimes your periods readjust especially at certain ages. Before I turned 30. this past summer I went a little beyond two weeks to find out I was not pregnant. Took at least 4 HPT and one at the pregnany center.
#3 Sometimes you are indeed pregnant but the implantation doesn' occur and it delays the period until one of two things happens. One the egg finally implants and the hcg begins to produce or it is flushed out of the systems and your body begins your cycle again.
For me in August I found out I wasn't pregnant. My cylce was shifting. The beautful thing is not even six months later I am pregnant two pinks lines on two HPT.
