very concerned...Am i pregnant?

Hi im 33 and on Ortho Trycyclin Lo. I take the pill regularity but I've sometimes taken it late. Here is the situation. I had my period a couple days late last month but it was a normal period. The problem is... my cramps have not gone away, my breasts are very swollen and painful and it is been over 2 weeks since I've had my period. I took a pregnancy test and it was negative and my period should be starting here in about 9 days. Could I be pregnant but it was too early to tell on the test? Thanks!
