Hello!
I am new to the board. I have had a great pregnancy. I am 22 years old and married, expecting a boy by November 21st. I just started to experience something weird. The past week or so I have woken up every 3 hours with pins and needles in my left hand and fingers. Usually all i have to do is hang my hand downwards or upwards for a few seconds and it goes away till the next 3 hours later. I have learned to s;eep with my hands on my tummy because i thought maybe somehow i was cutting off my circulation. This Am was the first AM that I did not wake up every three hours. I woke up at 5:00 and my hand was in so much pain. Ity took 25 minutes for it to wake up. It was not only tingly but completly stiff and my fingers and hands on both sides were pretty swollen. Not freaky swollen just really swollen along with my feet. This scared me. I took off all my rings last night and woke up with my hands on my tummy. Does anyone know of any thing that I should be worried about regarding this. I know its not Toxemia or preclampsia. My left hand right now still is a litle tingle and very sore. Any suggestions!

It sounds like you might be experiencing carpal tunnel syndrome, which is quite common in pregnancy. You should check out the November expecting boards, since they would have more people in your position, rather than a bunch of women wondering if they even are pregnant. Good luck!
