what are the chances?

I have been taking BCP for around 2 years now and have missed a pill (or 2 or 3) without becoming pregnant. I frequently use them to skip my period (for months at a time) and haven't had a problem with it (spotting or anything).

last month I ran out of pills and so had my period. It lasted a lot longer than usual..about 10 days. I neglected to get more pills the 3 weeks after that. So I went a total of a month and 3 days without pills (10 days w/o pills where I had my period-threw the reminder pills away before realizing that I didn't have any more + 3 wks after my period). Careless, I know. I work FT, school PT and am planning a wedding. I honestly just never had the time and forgot about them.

I'm pretty unconcerned about becoming pregnant..I am getting married in two months, work full-time, have insurance, and have my own place. My Fiance is pretty ready to have kids, but I just recently went back to school after years off so we're waiting.

I checked fertility friend for the days when I was most likely to get pregnant (judging by the first day of my last period) and I had sex every day for the 4 or 5 day period that I COULD get pregnant. Whoops.

what are the chances that I might be pregnant? I am one week into my new pack of pills..I feel fine except I'm slightly more naseous lately and I've had more frequent headaches (both of which could also be caused by the stress I'm feeling planning this wedding!).

should I test just in case, or wait two more weeks until I'm supposed to get my period (I don't smoke and won't be drinking anytime in the next month)

(no flaming me on how I'm stupid for not getting more pills. like I said, we're pretty unconcerned if we get pregnant. I'd rather not right now, but it's not the end of the world or anything if I do.)

Usually when coming off BCP your body ovulates later than normal and since you were so long with stopping your periods I'd say you have a greater chance of ovulating later. But who knows, if its been at least 2wks since that time you can take a test and see what it says. Also could headaches and sickness could be from starting the pills again? I would test and see, you can get a cheap test at the dollar store just to find out

I agree with the pp. Coming off the pills will change hormone levels within your body. No telling how quickly your body adjusted. You could easily be pregnant or just readjusting to the hormone levels of the pill again. Did you have a period before starting the new pack of pills? I guess that part confused me. If not, I'd say the likelihood is there that you are. If so, probably not.
