what are the chances

Me and my boyfriend had intercourse on the 14th day of my 28 day cycle. Now given the signs of ovulation I am pretty sure that I was ovulating or due to ovulate on day 15.

Now we are not necessarily actively trying but we are not doing much to prevent it either. We have a daughter already so a new baby would be welcome. But my question is my boyfriend states that he only ejaculated a small amount and I know that it only takes one sperm to do the job but has anyone been in a similar situation where they weren't a 100%sure that they were ovulating but did have intercourse and got pregnant.

I would be excited if I were pregnant and I know that I am being anxious and should test if I am late but I wante to know if anyone had a similar experience.

Thanks

A good way to know if you are fertile is by your mucous. If the day of or the day after your mucous was wet slippery and very stretchy... you were very fertile that day. That, I think, is a better way to try to conceive. I'm six weeks pregnant and just found out the other day. My cycle is like yours but last month I dont think I ovulated at all (I was very dry all month). It was a shorter cycle as well(20 days instead of 28). The DAY I was no longer mensing, I was fertile!! I knew it and we happened to make love that day, and a week later I had implantation spotting!! a couple more weeks and I started feeling queasy in the evenings, breast became sore, began cramping in my abdomen ( I never do before a period) and during my TurboKick class I had lots more cramping and had to stop (I can usually handle going the entire class). Another couple of days and I took a test... its positive! I would say to keep an eye out on your symptoms the next couple of weeks. You have a good chance of becoming pregnant if you were fertile. Good luck with whatever you are hoping

even if he ejaculated on the outside of your vagina, you could still get pregnant. men dont seem to realize that all it takes is one of his little soldiers anywhere near your vagina at the right time of month and you can get pregnant. just try to wait it out and if AF doesnt arrive then test. good luck.

Thanks for responding. Judging by my cm on that day I believe that I was ovulating as the day after and today I know that I am no longer ovulating. I guess all I can do is wait and see and try not to get too anxious waiting to find out.

Thanks
