Hi everyone! I'm Jenn, a 22-year-old salesperson. I'm new to the board. I have a question that I'm hoping I can get some help with. I'm a newlywed and my husband and I decided in June that we want to try to have a baby. I went off of the pill after 6 years on June 15. On July 8 I had a real spotty period that lasted about 5 days. My period for August was nonexistant. I bled a tiny bit and it was real dark, like old blood and it only lasted a day. On August 5 my Dr. gave me a test and it came back negative (this was before the nonexistant August period). About a week after that we noticed that my breasts were getting larger and my aerolas (sp?) were also growing in size. My nipples were also getting more sensitive, but I attributed that to PMS, along with some bloating and constipation. Last week I started getting really nausous and it has continued through this week. It comes and goes, getting real bad around lunch time and then lessoning off towards evening. I haven't vomited yet, but I always feel like I could. Could I be pregnant or am I getting the flu? Should I take a home test? My husband insists that I can't be because the test that the dr gave me was negative. What do you guys think?
Thanks in advance,
Jenn
