When should I test?

Okay so like the rest of you ladies I am a little anxious and love the fact that there is a board here! YAY!

Anyways, my last AF start on 5/20, so I am now on Day 28.....when can I test? I definitely took advantage of my O this month, so I guess my chances are as good as any?

As far as symptoms go I have had mild cramping since about Monday, and small bouts of lightheadedness. My breast are a little sore, but it is more my nipples (sorry tmi).

Anyways, I leave for vacation tomorrow, and I wish I could know before I start wanting to go out for oysters or iced teas or beers!

I have been trying to lay off the caffiene lately just incase, but have been guilty of a soda here and there, I havent taken any pain relievers either, just incase.

My cycles are a little off, since I attempted BC in April (didnt like it) so my last cycle was 24 days, but normally they range about 31 days. So when will it be safe to test? When am I actually late? ARG!

Hi Vegas Wedding Chic -

Like you, my last AF started on 5/20, and my cycle is typically 24-26 days. I took the test on Wednesday of this week (two days ago) and got a positive result :) I even took the test on Thursday morning, because I couldn't believe it, and it was still positive(I'll be a first time mom, as evidenced by the anxiety). I say go ahead and take the test. Why not? If it comes out negative, you still might be pregnant -- just give it a shot again in a few days. If you get a positive response, then you really know how to head into your vacation -- and what a fun way to celebrate the good news!

Congratulations!

Okay I will do that? Does anyone know, do I have to test in the morning?

Testing in the morning is the best time because your urine is more concentrated then...but really you can test anytime, just don't drink too much water before you test.
